AAUW leads Community Conversation on One Big Beautiful Bill and its impacts

The South Haven American Association of University Women (AAUW) Public Policy Committee presents "A Community Conversation on the effects of HR1 (One Big Beautiful Bill Act)" on Thursday, March 26, 2026.

The educational event is to open a dialogue about the effects of HR 1 on the South Haven area. Two guest speakers will participate in the dialogue.
Christine Vanlandingham, CEO of Region IV Area Agency on Aging will present on the effects of the bill related to aging and disabled individuals.
Nicole Hudson, Senior Advisor of Special Projects at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Health Services Division, will address the impact of the bill on Michigan's Medicaid Program.
Moderating the event will be Amy Nichols, chair of AAUW South Haven's Public Policy Committee.
"A Community Conversation on the effects of HR1 (One Big Beautiful Bill Act" will be held at The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 410 Erie Street, South Haven MI 49090. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the program runs from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
